Southern Built Auto Works operates an SMS messaging program (the “SMS Program”) to send transactional and promotional text messages to customers who have expressly opted in. Messages are sent via the A2P (Application-to-Person) 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) messaging framework as required by U.S. wireless carriers and the CTIA.

 

3.2 How to Opt In

By submitting the form and checking the SMS consent checkbox, you:

• Confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided
• Expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Southern Built Auto Works at the number provided
• Acknowledge that consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services
• Acknowledge that message and data rates may apply
• You must be 18+ to opt-in for SMS

 

3.3 Types of Messages

Once opted in, you may receive the following categories of messages:

 

Transactional Messages — sent in connection with your existing service relationship, including:

• Estimate approvals, authorizations, and updates
• Payment confirmations and receipts
• Direct responses to your inquiries

 

Promotional Messages — periodic marketing communications, including:

• Seasonal promotions, service specials, and discounts

3.4 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are triggered by service activity. Promotional messages are sent periodically and will not exceed a reasonable frequency. We do not send unsolicited bulk messages.

 

3.5 Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Southern Built Auto Works does not charge separately for SMS messages; however, your carrier may apply charges. Contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging plan.

 

3.6 How to Opt Out

You may withdraw your consent and opt out of the SMS Program at any time. To opt out:

• Reply STOP to any message you receive from us
• Reply STOPALL to unsubscribe from all messages
• Reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT — all are honored

 

Upon receipt of an opt-out keyword, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you re-enroll. Re-enrollment requires a new opt-in through our contact form.

3.7 A2P 10DLC Compliance

Our SMS Program is fully registered under the A2P 10DLC framework with the applicable Campaign Registry (TCR) and complies with all applicable carrier requirements and CTIA guidelines. Our compliance commitments include:

 

1. Explicit opt-in consent is obtained before any promotional messages are sent
2. The opt-in source URL, timestamp, and consent language are recorded and retained for a minimum of four (4) years
3. Our business name is included in every message sent
4. Opt-out requests are processed promptly, no later than within the timeframe required by applicable carrier rules
5. No opted-in phone numbers are sold, shared, or transferred to third parties for their own marketing purposes
6. All messages comply with the CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook and carrier-specific codes of conduct
7. Our messaging content does not include prohibited content categories as defined by CTIA and carrier policies
8. We do not use deceptive or misleading messaging, spoofed numbers, or false sender identification

 

3.8 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use any communication channel with Southern Built Auto Works for unlawful purposes, to submit false or misleading information, to impersonate another person, or to interfere with our systems or messaging infrastructure. Any attempt to abuse our SMS Program, including submitting phone numbers belonging to others without their consent, may result in termination of your access to our services.

 

3.9 Supported Carriers

Our SMS Program supports all major U.S. wireless carriers. Carrier support for short codes, long codes, and toll-free numbers may vary. We are not responsible for delays or failures in SMS delivery caused by your wireless carrier.

 

4. Website Use

Your use of our website is subject to these Terms. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest content from this site without our express written permission. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website at our discretion.
